Part of my process is to look around me, studying nature, the built environment, people, and waiting for that special moment, captured through the lenses of my camera. I spend extended period of time to explore and discover new environments, in nearby surrounding or further afield. It is through that process of intimate discovery that I identify the subject matter and the subject I wish to emphasise. I am always fascinated by the powerful message a photograph can transcendent and I envision to capture moments and spaces that other people overlook. I am constantly on the lookout for new ideas and innovations. Like Don McCullin once said “Photography for me is not looking, it’s feeling. If you can’t feel what you’re looking at, then you’re never going to get others to feel anything when they look at your pictures.” I cannot agree more.

Artistic CV

Born in Switzerland, my particular passion is the integration of architecture, graphic art, 3d visualizations and multimedia work. After working in Hong Kong, Berlin and Zurich, I moved to Sydney in 1995, working for several local and international architectural firms as a design architect.

I am working currently for the ABC Television network, developing concepts for offices in Sydney and Adelaide.

In 2010 was the start of my first exploration of the "art" world, and in 2012 my first solo exhibition at the bondi pavilion. It was followed two years later by another solo expo at the waverley library in 2014. In 2015 I was invited to contribute to the Swiss-Oz art expo at the Bondi Pavilion.

Artistic Statement

My photography can be described as creative and technically unique. I am always searching for that harmonious relationship between man, nature and our environment. I like to capture the essence of a place and tell a story that connect the people on an intimate level.

My work have appeared in numerous magazine and chinese TV network. Below a series of images from the various media publications.
